Exciting News!

Logan and Catherine finally got the chance to meet Luca earlier this month.  He flew in from Charlotte with his mom and was an absolute joy.  He is such a happy, good-natured baby.  He was curious about everything and very patient when my kiddos stole toys from him.  Since he is not quite walking yet, he was at a grave disadvantage when it came to retaining his toys.  I imagine the next time we get to hang out; he will be able to hold his own.

Other exciting news -  I am pregnant!!  Nope, just kidding on that one. But we do have new babies in the house.  I ordered some dinosaur eggs off of Etsy and helped Logan hatch them last week.  It was a huge success.  I recommend every mother of a three-year-old boy make or buy some dinosaur eggs.  We have about 15 new dinosaurs that live with us now.

Even more exciting, Catherine got her first haircut yesterday.  She was so brave in the chair and really not too concerned about the scissors.  I think it overwhelmed her a bit but she did smile in the end.

Uncle Quack Quack

Uncle Donald, Aunt Clare, and "cousin" Michael recently visited and we had a lot of fun.  I only have one sibling and I can honestly say I love him dearly.  This was not always the case but those stories are for a different time and place!!  The kids played very well together and Winston was very excited to see Cayenne and Pepper.

Excitement is masked by exhaustion.

Dinosaurs @ HMNS- must be genetically ingrained -little boys like these things.  L and M both carried a dinosaur around with them for most of the weekend.

Dancing with Dad

These guys (and gal) are really just too cute.

Did not get a picture with all of us so grabbed one from July 2011- 2 weeks before Catherine was born
