It has been over two years since my last post. I apologize to Logan, Catherine, and Hazel for the lapse in time. I write this blog for them, so that in years to come, they can relive and remember some family stories.
Hazel - I promise I will summarize your first 20 months of life very soon!
I guess I will just start with the present, or maybe the past, but just a few days past...
Last Friday the kids had their annual fun run at Oak Forest Elementary School. They ran an obstacle course and did over 25 laps each. Mimi and Eenie both contributed to the cause! As a member of the PTA finance committee, I realize just how many programs are funded by fund raisers like the fun run.
We are very grateful to be zoned to such an incredible elementary school.
Catherine had a voucher to iFly the she got for her birthday. I accompanied her and it was SO MUCH FUN. We took two 1 minute flights and the feeling of falling through the sky is awesome. You feel every inch of your body. I would totally do iFly again, however, I will never jump out of an actual airplane for sport. I am certain. 100%.
Random Hazel Tidbit- She loves to bathe. We have to close the bathroom door or she will start the process herself.
