Team Elmo Preliminary Results

Team Elmo has been receiving a lot of negative press due to a recent error in the Walk Like a Man preliminaries. Head coach Joan Dawson Dwyer, also known as Saint Momma, is still optimistic about her son turning it around in the finals.

NBC correspondant and former gold medalist in the Walk Like a Man competition in the 82 Olympics in NOLA, Brian Dwyer, strongly urges fans not to rule this young guy out yet.  "Although his first performance was dismal, Team Elmo has all the technical skills and physical ability that can allow him to master his competition.  It is going to come down to timing and execution and I guess we will see how that plays out in the finals on Friday evening in the Dwyer Household Arena."

Sadly, Team Catherine has officially been eliminated out of the tricycle competition and will not be advancing to Saturday's final.

Summer days drifting away

Brian and I just finished our intramural softball season for St. Anne’s young adult league.  We actually played for the St. Rose’s team (The Cardinals) but it was with the St. Anne league.  It was fun to play with Brian as I did not realize just how competitive he could be.  Honestly, I am just as competitive.  I will have to elaborate on this later.

Unfortunately, we did not do so well in the tournament and were eliminated after three games.  I was ok with this because it started at noon on a hot June Sunday and I thought I was going to pass out.

We spent the afternoon of the 4^th trying to do a patriotic photo shoot and these were my best shots.  Logan does not fully comprehend how to respectfully fly a flag.  Catherine just wanted to eat the flag.
