| Bleed |
Brian was off for Holy Week and we were able to have some "down" time together and with the kids. We celebrated Easter at St. Rose with just the four of us and it was very nice. For Easter lunch we had take out from Luby's (a Texas cafeteria) and I was blissfully happy not to have to cook! We spent the rest of the day working in the yard and building our swing set. More to come with that.
We also took a two day trip to San Antonio to visit Sea World. Logan and Catherine are obsessed with orca whales and were ready to see them. I have mixed feelings about them living in captivity at Seaworld but I will save that conversation for another time. The kids got to swim the first day in the hotel pool and were super excited to have Disney Jr. on the TV. We recently got rid of cable and do not miss it in the least.
Unfortunately, the first night there also included a visit to the ER as Catherine cut her forehead just above her right eye brow. She slipped while climbing from the sofa bed to the real bed and hit her forehead on the bed side table. It happened so quickly and it was not fun. Fortunately, she only needed butterflies and tape/sealant. She got a bunny from the nurse and named it Bleed. Bleed is now a full member of the clan.
