VACAY Part 2

We were in Cali for three nights.  The weather was absolutely beautiful: mid-60s, nice breeze and endless sunshine.  We took the BART down to the city and I honestly think Logan would have been completely content hoping around public transit all weekend.  He did not care if we actually went anywhere.  Highlights included walking around Fisherman’s Wharf, taking a boat ride under the Golden Gate Bridge, riding a trolley and a cable car, and our day trip to Muir Woods.

Logan continued to show that he has inherited the travel gene.  He loves an adventure.  He waited patiently in the airport for our flights and did an excellent job with letting me know when he needed to use the bathroom.  Brian and I both adore San Fran and appreciated seeing it through his eyes.

The funniest part of the whole trip is that Logan noticed the “old” Oakland Bay Bridge was getting torn down.  From that point on, he was not concerned with the GGB but rather wanted to discuss all the details around the “broken bridge”.  He has told anyone that will listen that he saw a broken bridge in San Francisco and that there are broken bridges in Houston too.   It makes us smile.

  1. All of a sudden Logan's face is looking so much more grownup! What a sweetie.
