New Camera, New Experiences

A few weeks back we decided to treat ourselves to a new camera - a Nikon D3100. It came highly recommended and reviewed. I've always like playing around with our cameras whilst (missed the London lingo) traveling. Joan took a photography class last month. We are excited about it and love it so far.

Not unlike this blog, our new camera gives us the perfect opportunity to use the newest technology to capture some of those memories that every good parent wants to selectively pass along to their children. No excuses now. Well, except that the user manual is akin to an Ayn Rand novel and the camera has as many buttons, commands, and features as the Millennium Falcon. That is to say, we are still far from being experts, but will still share some of pictures here. It is a labor of love. Enjoy!
